
You would have thought that the UK would have equal rights between men and women but if you look closely you can still see a huge laps in equalities?
As you can see from the graph, the UK has an above average pay gap based on gender (20% compared to the european average of 15%)which shows that within the work place and in industries in the UK there are still discrimination against women such as with pay, working hours and recruitment which is halting the countries development. Follow the link below and you can see the dramatic statistics proving this such as on average, women will earn £330,000 less than men during their working lives.
